All new players can not be tested at the same time: Sethi
Source: Geo News | 22-11-2013

Pakistan Cricket Board's acting Chairman Najam Sethi backing the country's test and one-day international skipper Misbah-ul-Haq to retain his role until the next World Cup said that all new players could not be included in 11-member team at the same time.

Talking to media at Lahore airport, the PCB chairman said that all players could not be replaced with the new ones as he termed the experienced players important for the team.

Sethi said that Misbah has shown good performance and he would continue to serve the team as a captain until World Cup 2015.

Expressing chances of Indo-Pak series, he said that both the neighbouring countries are likely to play against each other following the general elections in India.

He further said that no team is willing to visit Pakistan in view of the terrorist threat.

"We have assured full security to the other teams, however, no one agreed to visit Pakistan."

The PCB chairman expressed hope that the same team would click in Sri Lanka tour. Two decisions were given against Pakistan in Dubai tour, Sethi highlighted.

"I do not want to impose my philosophy on selection committee," he said.
