COAS Sharif chairs corps commanders conference today

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has summoned a corps commanders conference today (Friday) at General Headquarters (GHQ).

The conference would deliberate upon matters pertaining to internal security situation across the country including North Waziristan, ceasefire with the Taliban and inclusion of military men in government’s committee formed to hold talks with the militants.

The army chief would also take corps commanders into confidence over his visit to United Arab Emirates (UAE), the military official said.
