Islamabad High Court summons DG ISI

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard the petition pertaining to missing person Mohammad Arif on a petition filed by his wife Parveen Bibi.

Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan summoned DG ISI to appear before the court next week with an affidavit pertaining to the custody of the missing person.

During proceedings, Parveen Bibi’s attorney informed the court that Mohammad Arif and two others were taking into ISI custody a few months ago. The attorney said those taken into custody with Arif had been released a few days later, while he was still in ISI custody.

The advising counsel sought six months time to submit their reply but the court expressing its anger summoned DG ISI next week.
