Lahore: Pistol seized from Jeddah-bound passenger

LAHORE: The Airport Security Force (ASF) recovered a pistol from the baggage of a passenger heading to Jeddah at the Lahore Airport Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According to the ASF sources, a pistol was found in the baggage of a passenger named Usman who was leaving for Jeddah. The ASF personnel handed over the suspect to the police.

Usman was traveling via private airline to Jeddah when he was caught with a pistol in his luggage.

In his statement, Usman told that his family members added the pistol by mistake to his luggage, and that he was not aware of it.

Further investigation from him is underway.
