Two killed in Chaman railway station blast

CHAMAN: At least two people were killed and fifteen others including women and children injured in a blast at a railway station here on Wednesday.

According to initial reports the bomb was placed near the ticket counter at the railway station which has been destroyed. Security forces and rescue teams have reached the site of the blast and it is feared that several people are trapped under the rubble. The blast took place when a train was leaving for Quetta.

The injured are being rushed to the civil hospital in Chaman where emergency has been declared.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
