FORTALEZA: Brazil superstar Neymar scored one goal and set up the other to give hosts Brazil a 2-0 win over Mexico in their Group A game and all but book their place in the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup in Fortaleza on Wednesday. Brazil will qualify for sure for the last four should Japan fail to beat Italy later on Wednesday. Neymar, 21, took his tally to 13 goals in his last 15 games for his country with a superb left-footed volley early in the first-half, and then produced a brilliant shimmy between two Mexican defenders in second-half stoppage time to set up Jo for the second goal. While Brazil look likely to progress to the semis, Mexico's hopes hang by a thread after two defeats as they are also relying on Japan, who lost 3-0 to Brazil in their opener, to beat Euro 2012 finalists Italy to give them any hope of reaching the last four. Brazil play Italy in their final group match in Salvador on Saturday. (AFP)
