Election Commission allots electoral symbols to parties

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has allotted electoral symbols to several political parties for the upcoming general elections.

The Muttahida Quami Movement have been allotted the symbol of the kite, PML-Q has been allotted the cycle, the PML-N has been allotted the tiger and the lantern has been allotted to the Awami National Party/

The JI has been allotted the scale as their electoral symbol while the Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan which is the political party of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has been appointed the missile.

Sheikh Rasheed’s Awami Muslim League has been allotted the ink pot with a pen and the JUI-F’s electoral symbol is the book.The process of appointing electoral symbols is still underway at the ECP.
