Election Commission lifts ban on recruitments

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has lifted the ban recruitments in government institutions. However, the ban on the use of developments funds was not being lifted.

Talking to media, ECP Additional Secretary Afzal Khan said that the ban on new appointments in government institutions was imposed in January to discourage the previous government from making political appointments ahead of general elections.
