Hazara Shias bury victims four days after deadly Quetta bombings

Hazara Community on Monday buried the dead bodies at Behisht Zehra graveyard on Alamdar Road as Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf announced Governor's rule in Balochistan.

 

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ahsraf held constructive talks with the protesting Hazara Community in Quetta on Sunday. PM after consultation with the mainstream political leadership and President of Pakistan, under the article 234 of the Constitution of Pakistan, announced to impose Governor's rule in Balochistan on late Sunday night.

 

After the issuances of official notification with regard to the Governor's rule in the province of Balochistan, the Secretary General of Wahdate Muslimeen Allama Nasir Abbas announced to end the 68 hours long protest and buried the dead bodies of the Quetta twin blast amid moving scenes.The Secretary General of the Wahdate Muslimeen Allama Nasir Abbas offered namaze janaza of the blast victims attended by thousands of people of hazara tribe.

 

It may be mentioned, here that over 100 people journalists, Edhi workers among them were killed and about 200 injured in twin blast occurred at Alamdar Road on Thursday night. The shia community had refused to bury the dead until the imposition of Governor rule and targeted operation against the perpetrators.

 

Prime Minister on his special visit arrived Quetta on Sunday and held busy day with politicians and representatives of the protesters. Later, Prime Minister visited the Panjabi Imamabargah along with Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Umer Gorgej, Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi and announced to invoke article 234 of the Constitution in Balochistan.
