Pakistan need to play their natural game in the crucial match as pressure will be on India for losing the Twenty20 series against neighbouring country in their own backyard in Ahmedabad today (Friday).

Indian captain MS Dhoni is under immense pressure of media and facing axe from the captaincy and if Pakistan play aggressive game to put immense pressure and if they feel the heat then they might make mistakes that let them down in Twenty20 series.

The better team will surely win the match as no one can predict about the either side’s victory. Pakistan will definitely rely on their pacers particularly the lanky left-hander M Irfan who troubled all the Indian batsmen through his pace and bounce in his debut match and was praised by both team’s captains during the post-match press briefing.

Pakistan should retain the winning combination except Kamran Akmal, who nearly gifted the match to the Indians, should be dropped and Umar Akmal be handed keeping job and one all-rounder should also be included in the squad to strengthen their batting.

Pakistan spearhead Umar Gul also bowled wonderfully in the finishing overs along with Saeed Ajmal that restricted India to a smaller total than what they were expecting as at one stage they were 75 without loss and it was evident that India will score 270 plus runs.

Dhoni earlier blamed Indian middle-order batting collapse for the first match defeat and demanded the batsmen to do more to remain in contention. India bowling attack was looking weak and they needed to include a bowler as well.

Pakistan ODI captain Misbahul Haq wanted Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi in the ne-day squad, he was quoted as saying by the India media after his arrival in India. Hafeez had praised team performance and particularly M Irfan and said: “M Irfan was our surprise package and I think he started off brilliantly and troubled all Indian batsmen due to his speed and bounce. Along with Sohail Tanvir while Umar Gul also came off good in finishing overs.”

Hafeez said the team played according to a plan and targeted India’s part-time spinners Yuvraj Singh and Ravindra Jadeja who are not world-class bowlers. “I know they are in good form, but they are not world-class spinners. 

Hafeez had words of praise for debutant Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who had figured of three for nine in four overs. “He bowled very well. He was swinging the ball nicely. With Ashwin not playing, India did not have a world class spinner in the squad. It was a surprise for us that Ashwin did not play,” Pakistani skipper added.

Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni had blamed the middle-order batsmen failure for defeat after fine start from the openers. “The batsmen got out trying to play big shots. We could have easily scored 200 if we had applied ourselves,” Dhoni complained.
