ISLAMABAD - Much to the dismay of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) consumers already bearing heavy brunt of sky-high prices, the price of the commodity has been increased by Rs5 per kilogram across the country, sources said on Friday.
Chairman LPG Distribution Association Irfan Khokar, said that marketing companies raised the price of LPG thrice in a week and they would launch protest against the hike in prices.
According to details, prices of domestic and commercial cylinders have been increased by Rs50 and Rs200 respectively.
With the latest hike in the prices, LGP cylinders would b available at Rs2530 in Gilgit and FATA, Rs2325 in Kaghan and Naran, Rs2050 in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree and Dera Ismail Khan, Rs1930 in Multan, Bahawalpur and Peshawar, Rs1810 in Okara and Sahiwal and Rs1690 in Karachi.
