ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Friday boycotted the National Assembly session over the killing of its MPA Sajid Qureshi in Karachi, Geo News reported.

MQM's National Assembly member Rasheed Godail demanded of the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice against his party workers' killings.

During NA session, Godail said that the third MQM's member of the provincial assembly was gunned down in provincial capital of Sindh and alleged that 'Lyari Gangsters' were involved in the killings of the party workers.

He announced to boycott National Assembly proceedings and staged walked out with his party fellows from the assembly.

Talking to media men outside the parliament, Rasheed Godail said that federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar goes to Balochistan but doesn't visit Karachi, adding that it's a height of callousness that nobody condemns the killings of MQM workers.

He claimed that 110 party workers and sympathizers have been murdered since the recent elections. He further said that MQM was not given a chance to speak in NA against law and order situation of Karachi.

Godail maintained that his party workers and supporters are being martyred and warned not to test their patience.
