NEPRA raises power tariff by Rs1.12 per unit

ISLAMABAD: In what appears to be yet another blow to the masses already bearing the brunt of an unprecedented price hike in the country, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased electricity tariff by Rs1.12 per unit, Geo News reported Wednesday.

The price was increased on account of fuel adjustment for the month of May. It would be applicable on all the power distribution companies except the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC).
