Pakistan economy can pull out of crisis: SBP chief

overnor, central bank of Pakistan, has claimed that the country's economy has the capacity to pull out of the current crisis.

Governor, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Yaseen Anwar was addressing officers at Navy War College, Lahore.He said the country's economy has witnessed a gradual improvement during the past eight years.The SBP chief said the rate of inflation for Pakistan is expected to remain in the range of 8.5 to 9.5 percent.

ADB aids Pakistan Islamic banking boost

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has provided a $750,000 grant to promote Islamic banking in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
