Source: The Nation | 28-03-2013

Pakistan Women will take on England Women in two One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals from 1st to 5th July.Louth will host its first One-Day International before the remaining three matches, the Twenty20s on the same day, will be played at Loughborough University.

Ahead of the internationals, Pakistan will play two Twenty20s and a one-day game against England Women's Academy on 27th and 29th June at Loughborough University. "I'm pleased to announce the additional fixtures for England Women against Pakistan," Clare Connor, Head of England Women's Cricket, said."

The limited over games are a welcome addition to the summer schedule providing an opportunity for the England team to hone their skills against lesser known opposition and provide valuable international fixtures for Pakistan. The NatWest Women’s one-day international at Louth Cricket Club will be the first the club has hosted since major investment was made by ECB.”

England played Pakistan in three Twenty20 Internationals in 2012, winning all three including a 43-run victory in the most recent encounter in the ICC Women's World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka. The two sides have not met in an ODI since the 2009 World Cup, when England won by eight wickets and in all six international clashes between the two sides, England have emerged as winners.
