Time shortage may affect polls: EC

The letter written to Supreme Court of Pakistan by the Election Commission of Pakistan says that the shortage of time may affect the election process.

It said that it was becoming difficult for the District Returning Officers as they were also busy in judicial matters. The responsibilities of the DROs should be reviewed in the judicial policy, the letter requests.The ECP has requested the Registrar of the Supreme Court to bring the matter into the notice of Chief Justice of Pakistan.
