Power shortfall reaches 3600MW: NTDC

ISLAMABAD: National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) has stated that power shortfall in the country has reached 3600MW on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According to the statistics released by NTDC, the power general in the country stands at 14000MW, however, its demand is 17600.

It further said electricity shortfall on Tuesday stood at 3500MW.

The statement said 5280MW electricity was being generated through hydel, 2000MW through thermal and IPPs were adding 6720MW in the national grid.
