ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won five national assembly seats out of a total of 15, while Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lost both the NA seats vacated by its chief Imran Khan, according to the unofficial results available here, Geo News reported. Awami National Party (ANP)’s Ghulam Ahmad Bilour emerged victorious in Peshawar NA-1 by-poll, PTI’s Aqibullah in Swabi NA-13, PTI’s Asad Umar in Islamabad NA-48, PML-N’s Shafqat Hayat Khan in Sargodha NA-68, PML-N’s Ubaidullah Shadikhel in Mianwali NA-71, PML-N’s Mian Abdul Mannan in Faisalabad NA-83, PML-N’s Shahid Hussain Bhatti in Hafizabad NA-103, PML-N’s Shazia Mubasshar in Lahore NA-29, PPP’s Ghulam Rabbani Khar in Muzaffargarh NA-177, PPP’s Shazia Murree in Sanghar NA-235, PPP’s Shamsunnisa in Thatta NA-237, MQM’s Ali Rashid in Karachi NA-254 and PkMAP’s Abdul Quadir Khan in Qila Abdullah NA-262. While Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to hold re-polling on 18 polling stations in Nowshera NA-5 and Lakki Marwat NA-27 as women were not allowed to cast their votes and, therefore, the results for these seats would be announced only after completion of the polls.
