Karachi: 35 criminals held in raids

KARACHI: Karachi police in crackdown against criminal elements on Thursday claimed to have arrested 35 accused, including four offenders/proclaimed-absconders in 50 separate raids conducted in last 24 hours.

The police also recovered eight weapons of different categories and a hand grenade from their possession.

According to Karachi police District East, West and South report, the police arrested four criminals during snap checking and search, two accused in patrolling and car lifter in raid. The South Zone police arrested two criminals in two separate encounters with police.

Meanwhile, twenty-six accused were held under arms, narcotics and different crimes in the last 24 hours in the city.
