BOSTON: A passenger trying to fly out of Bradley International Airport was arrested this afternoon after allegedly telling security screeners he had a bomb. Jason Rickard, 26, of Charlotte, N.C., went through Transportation Security Administration screening, and was chosen for further inspection, state police spokesman Lt. J. Paul Vance said in a written release. When asked by TSA officers if he had anything in his pockets and he allegedly said, "Yes, I have a bomb." TSA contacted troopers on duty and Rickard was arrested at the checkpoint, Vance said. Rickard and his girlfriend were interviewed by troopers this afternoon, Vance said. Rickard faces numerous criminal charges because of his comments, Vance said. He will be held on bond to appear in Superior Court.
