PCB Committee approves Miandad resignation

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s management committee has approved Javed Miandad’s resignation as drector-general here on Thursday.

This was confirmed by Subhan Ahmed, chief operating officer, PCB, as he was talking with media after the meeting.

He said that the position of director-general has been removed by the board.

Subhan Ahmed further said that the management committee has also decided to review the PCB constitution and formed a committee for this consideration.

He told that the committee also decided that a five per cent job quota would be allocated for women and disabled persons in the PCB.

The COO added that a decision regarding the contract employees of the PCB would be taken tomorrow.

According to him, the members of the committee agreed for continue negotiations on the issue of Big Three and also agreed not to change the PCB stance in this regard.

Subhan also told that the PCB is in contact with all cricket boards for scheduling future tours of the Pakistan cricket team.
