ISLAMABAD: The government will drop yet another price-hike bomb on the citizens by increasing the prices of petroleum products from October 1.

Sources told Geo News that the prices of petrol, oil and lubricants are likely to go up in view of the rising international POL prices effective October 1.

It is feared that petrol would go costlier by Rs4.00 per litre, kerosene by Rs2.50 per litre, while diesel and light diesel by Rs2.00 each.

Sources further said that the crude price in international market has shot up by 5 percent from $111 to $114 per barrel.
