RAWALPINDI: A soldier of the Pakistan army was killed as a result of firing by Indian forces at the Line of Control. According to the ISPR, Indian forces opened unprovoked firing near the Rawalakot sector. An Army captain was killed and a solider wounded during unprovoked shelling by Indian troops at the Shakma sector of LoC on Tuesday night. Earlier on Thursday, the Foreign Office spokesperson, Aizaz Chaudhry said Pakistan was showing restraint over relentless violations on the Line of Control by Indian troops and has lodged a protest with New Delhi. Aizaz Chaudhry added that Indian violations of the ceasefire agreement were hindering the peace process.
