QUETTA: A day of mourning is being observed across Balochistan on Sunday over Saturday\'s bombings targeting the Women University bus and the Bolan Medical Complex which has claimed 25 precious lives.

The National flag flies at half mast at all key government buildings, as the deceased are laid to rest.

Day of Mourning

Following the attacks that killed the Deputy Commissioner Quetta, his security personnel along with the female students and nurses, the provincial government announced to observe Sunday as a day of mourning.

Meanwhile in Quetta the Pashtunkhwa Milli awami Party (PkMAP) is observing a shutter down strike. All shops and business centers remain closed with the city resembling a ghost town.

Deputy Commissioner laid to rest

Deputy Commissioner Quetta, who was killed on Saturday in the Bolan Medical Complex terror incident was given a state funeral on Sunday while his funeral prayers were offered earlier on Saturday night at the Police Lines.

Meanwhile 14 female students who lost their lives, six have been identified while the remaining eight are yet to be identified. All those identified will also be laid to rest today.
