Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE-10) Tuesday witnessed a bearish trend as the index fell by 34.43 points to close at 3375.98 as compared to previous day's trading.
Stock analysts said the technical correction was seen in the local stock market after many bullish sessions."The investors preferred to book profits by off-loading major positions in the bourse but some of them took new positions when the index went down", they added.Total volume of shares traded was 5,500, down by 121,500, compared to Monday’ closing.
Out of 133 companies shares traded, the price of 51 increased while the price of 82 decreased.The price of top gainer Unilever Pakistan increased by Rs190while the price of top loser Fazal Textile decreased by Rs12.13.Flying Cement and Kot Addu Power remained volume leaders with volume of 5,000 and 500 shares respectively.
