Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has said corruption is the biggest problem of Pakistan, as it is rampant everywhere and every level eating away the foundations of the country.

Addressing a public meeting in a play ground of a high school in Khipro, district Sanghar, PTI chief said he has come with a program for a political change and hoped the people, especially the youths, would support him.

“All the cities, towns and roads are presenting a look of ‘remains of ancient towns’ as the corrupt bureaucracy and politicians have plundered the billions of rupees meant for development. “We want accountability of these corrupt bureaucracy and politicians so that the country could get rid of corruption.

He lamented that the poor people of Khipro town and surrounding areas were wandering for jobs and even for getting the CNICs. “The 60-year old women are being asked to produce birth, marriage and residential certificates and are not issued CNICs on payment of Rs.1000."

“The issuance of CNIC to the citizens is the responsibility of government being their basic right,” he said and alleged that the advisors and officers are being appointed on payment of bribe.
