Kayani chairs farewell Formation Commanders Conference

A Special Formation Commanders Conference has begun under the chairmanship of Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfarq Pervez Kayani more than a week before his retirement after he completes his extended term in office.

The Formation Commanders Conference held at General Headquarters (GHQ) will pay farewell Kayani who will retire on November 28, 2013.

Corps Commanders, Principal Staff Officers (PSOs), General Officers Commanding (GOCs) and concerned senior officials would be in attendance to bid farewell to General Kayani. The army chief will give briefing on security, domestic and foreign challenges.
