Mobile phone service starts to restore

The mobile phone service that remained suspended throughout the day as part of the government's security plan on the occasion of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) has started restoring, Geo News reported

The day-long suspension of the cellular phone service was carried out in 46 districts across the country.According to details, Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Peshawar, Faisalabad and many other cities faced cellular blockade for security reasons on the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).Mobile phone networks in different districts of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit, Azad Kashmir, South Waziristan were kept off.
