Pre-monsoon rains to continue till Monday
Source: GEO News | 14-06-2013

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) said on Friday that pre-monsoon showers will continue indifferent parts of the country at least for four more days.

DG Met Office, Arif Mehmood said rain and thunderstorms are also expected Friday in upper Sindh, southeastern Balochistan and southern Punjab, Kahsmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

On Thursday, scattered to widespread dust-thunderstorm and rain occurred in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Sindh, Eastern Balochistan and Kashmir, breaking the week-long heat spell.

The heavy downpour in upper parts triggered floods and increased water reservoirs. (APP)
