Punjab govt to purchase 4 million tons wheat

Provincial Minister for Agriculture Ahmed Ali Aulakh said the Punjab govt would purchase 40 lakh tonne wheat during the ongoing year.

Addressing a seminar at residence of Dr Saeed Rabani, the minister said CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was paying attention to the agricultue agriculture sector by the government. He said the gov provided tractors to 30,000 farmers on subsidized rates to promote the sector.
