SC resumes hearing of Karachi law and order case today

A larger bench of Supreme Court, headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, would resume the hearing of implementation of the earlier court’s order over Karachi law and order situation today (Wednesday).

On Tuesday, the apex court was told that SSPs of Hyderabad and Thatta, Pir Fareed Jan Sarhandi and Farrukh Bashir respectively were involved in killings and abduction cases.Supreme Court issued show cause notice to the Inspector General (IG) Sindh Fayaz Leghari for hiding the facts from the court.The apex court also sought details of police officials and personnel involved in crimes.
