Lawmaker calls for lifting ban on YouTube
Source: Geo News | 22-08-2013

ISLAMABAD: A lawmaker on Thursday demanded of the government to lift a ban on video sharing website YouTube.

Awais Leghari, a member of the lower house, said that the website be reopened forthwith.

He said that YouTube was banned two years ago and thought of certain people should not be imposed on all.

The website was banned in Pakistan after a strong protest across the country following a release of an anti-Islam movie.
