PTI wants US, CIA nominated in Hangu drone strike FIR

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has requested the Inspector General Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to nominate the US and CIA in the Hangu drone strike FIR.

PTI’s Central Legal Secretary, Barrister Suleman Afridi submitted the written request to IGP Khyber Pakhutunkhwa which cited the statement of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, a news story regarding the US drone strike in the Washington Post and decisions of the Peshawar High Court.

IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Durrani has order the investigation officers to conduct an inquiry.

Earlier, an FIR had been lodged against unknown persons in the concerned police station.

On November 21, at least six people were killed in a US drone attack in the Hangu area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the first in the province.
