Maulana Samiul Huque the chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-S (JUI-S) Monday said that some encouraging response has been received from the Taliban Shura and urged upon the media to keep cool regarding talks, a national issue, Geo News reported.
Addressing a press conference at Akhora Khattak along with other members of the Taliban committee, Maulana Samiul Huque said that the member of committee held talks with the Taliban leadership in Miranshah, which continued until this morning. He said that a breakthrough has been made with a consensus decision to hold talks within the constitutional limits.
Maulana said that all of us should strive to make the talks a success by remaining conscious that no harm done during the process.
Taliban negotiation committee member, Yusuf Shah on this occasion said that meaningful talks were held with the 10-member political committee of Taliban, who responded positively and we are hopeful that the process of talks would move ahead.
