Hajj quota allotted to 734 Cos. including 19 new as per court order: ministry

ISLAMABAD: The ministry of religious affairs Monday presented its report in the Supreme Court stating that Hajj quota this year was allotted to 734 companies in accordance with the court order, Geo News reported.

SC two-member bench comprising of Justice Gulzar Ahmad and Justice Athar Saeed was hearing the Hajj quota case here.

Ministry of religious affairs Deputy Director, Farid Islam Khattak presented the report stating that Hajj quota was allotted under Hajj policy 2013 in accordance with the court order to 734 companies including 19 new and the list of all those quota recipient companies are posted on the ministry website.

Further hearing of the case will be held on August 26.
