Karachi police sweep locality near Central Prison

KARACHI: The Rapid Response Force of the Karachi police arrested several suspects during a search operation in a locality near Central Prison, Geo News reported.

The police said that the raid was carried out after receiving information about the presence of some suspects in Ghosia Colony.

A smoke grenade was hurled inside the detention facility from a house adjacent to the jail on Wednesday.
