Fazl phones Shujaat to discuss caretaker setup

Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazl Urrehman on Wednesday telephoned Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and discussed current political situation,

Sources said the two leaders exchanged views over deadlock in talks between government and the opposition for the selection of a caretaker prime minister as well as chief ministers in Punjab and Balochistan.

In Balochistan, the Islamic National Democratic Alliance has nominated seven people, including five former judges, for the slot of caretaker chief minister in Balochistan where JUI-F is among the political stakeholders.
