Govt tackled all challenges with wisdom: Zardari

Addressing a dinner hosted in honour of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and outgoing lawmakers, President Asif Ali Zardari said that completion of the tenure of the present government and a peaceful transition of power to next government is a major achievement of the present government.

He said that the PPP government faced huge challenges during its tenure, including natural disasters and energy crisis. He said that the credit goes the present government that it pursued the policy of reconciliation and took all the political forces along on the issues of national interests.Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was also present on the occasion.
