Former Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) chairman Tauqeer Sadiq, allegedly involved in Rs82billion scam, would likely to be deported from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today (Thursday), sources said.
According to the sources, all the procedures have been completed in Abu Dhabi and Tauqeer Sadiq would expected to be brought back to Pakistan via Interpol today.The sources said that the decision was taken in a meeting of Ambassador to UAE Jamil Ahmed and NAB Director Irfan Baig with UAE Interior Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan.Dubai Interpol team would hand over Tauqeer Sadiq to Pakistani Interpol team, the it added.
