Army Chief visits Corps Headquarters Karachi

Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani visited the Corps Headquarters in Karachi on Wednesday, ISPR reported.

“During his visit COAS was briefed about the security situation in Karachi,” Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated .The army chief’s visit comes as the Supreme Court is hearing Abbas Town incident case. On Sunday night, a huge bomb blast killed at least 48 people and injured over 200 in Abbas Town area of Karachi.
