Local ANP leader gunned down in Orangi Town

KARACHI: A local leader belonging to the Awami National Party (ANP) was gunned down in Orangi Town area of Karachi when unknown gunmen opened fire on Friday, Geo News reported.

According to ANP spokesman, unidentified culprits started shooting in Orangi Town no.4 that killed the local ANP leader Syed Lal Darwaish.

He was the close relative of Senator and President of ANP Sindh chapter Shahi Syed, and was also serving as the president of ANP Frontier Colony Ward.

Tension gripped the area after the incident, sources added.
